I am a LSA in a primary school in Essex. I work within many different areas of the school, including speech and language.
Claire is the school’s speech therapist and attends the school once a week. Claire is an amazing speech therapist. She is friendly, approachable, professional and a fantastic teacher.
Her help and support with my training has been invaluable and I now know I can help the children that need speech and language support with intervention throughout the week at school. This has had a massive contribution to the improvement in their speech and language. I can also see how the children have grown with confidence and it helps to scaffold their learning.

As a class TA with limited speech and language experience I began working with Claire at the beginning of the last academic year. I have found working with her very rewarding. Claire has done the most amazing job in helping us with our little girl to start talking and in understanding what her difficulties might relate to. Claire is incredibly compassionate, caring and thoughtful, and goes beyond what I have experienced in these sorts of therapy sessions before. Not only is she helping our little girl with her communication, but she provides so much emotional support for me and my partner. I did not expect that we would all benefit from therapy that was originally just for our daughter, but I can honestly say that it has transformed us all as a family. We came to see Claire very stressed, confused and upset. We had been struggling to help our 3 year old little boy to communicate and he had some difficulties with behaviour too. Claire was very clear from the beginning in what we could expect from therapy and because she was so realistic we have been so happy with the progress. She gives us lots of advice and helps us to do the therapy with him too, because she always says that she doesn't want us to rely on her, but to help empower us to help him. I am really happy with the service we have received so far.

My 5 year old has been seeing Claire for a few months and the results have been amazing. Claire has been great at engaging with my son at every session and tailoring his therapy to his needs, she has also given me all the tools I need to be able to continue working with him at home. I am very pleased to write this review and recommendation and can not underestimate the positive experience that me and my son received. My son is having speech and language delay also he stammers. Claire has been working with me and my son for the last past year and we have come a long way. His vocabulary, expressive language and self confidence has improved.

Our son was having difficulties communicating and had other areas of social developmental delay. Since December Claire has worked with us and selected the best techniques for him. She very obviously cares about how we are all coping and implements the most appropriate strategies to help us manage. Since seeing Claire our son’ s communication has developed in ways we never thought possible. He is happier and every day we are thrilled with all the new things he does. Nursery and the whole family are amazed at how he is now blossoming and this is down to Claire’s knowledge and expertise.
